HAWK RADIAL ODOR CONTROL SYSTEM™
THE NEW ERA IN ODOR CONTROL SYSTEMS

The HAWK line of radial flow odor control systems are designed to be a low cost, highly effective system for removing H2S and other compounds from municipal wastewater applications. These systems can utilize a wide variety of absorbent medias for specific treatment needs. The HAWK system provides the following benefits:

  • Lower Capital Cost
  • Lower Operatin cost than Deep Bed or up flow canisters
  • High Efficiencies of H2s and orgainic odor removal
  • Small Footprint
  • High Reliablity
  • Low maintenance or operator intervention required
  • Reduced chance of shor circuiting or channeling (unified face pressures)
  • Low Pressure Drop thus lower Horsepower Blowers
  • Can utilize a wide variety of media and mixtures of media for specific treatment needs

The HAWK system also comes with several standard add-on options for:

  • Regeneration Package for regenerable carbon media
  • Sequential vessels for ammonia or other component removal
  • Neutralization of acidic regeneration stream

SERVICEABILITY

One of the unique benefits of the HAWK design is the ease to perform media replacement. It is as simple as disconnecting the inlet duct and removing the flanged lid.  This allows access to the entire media bed. Furthermore, it allows you to inspect the entire screen surface or remove it without entering the vessel unlike Deep Bed systems

PROCESS DESCRIPTION

The HAWK utilizes radial flow operation with the foul air entering from the center or outside and is then diffused through the media bed. The H2S (or other contaminates) are then removed and the clean air is collected in the outer portion of the vessel and exits the exhaust stack.
