Adsorbers - A variety of dry media systems that utilize activated carbon, impregnated carbon, chemical bonded products in a corrosion resistant vessel. These systems are applicable for a wide range of flows and medium to low level of odors. These systems are usually stand alone system but can also be used as a polish for scrubber and biofilter systems. Scrubbers - A technology that utilizes the contact with an odorous air stream with a counter-current water stream. The odors get "scrubbed" from the air and transferred into the liquid phase. The water stream contains chemicals to help enhance the removal performance. The typical compounds removed by scrubbers are hydrogen sulfide and ammonia. Biological Filters - The technology utilizes naturally occurring bacteria to consume or degrade odorous compounds in air streams. Autotrophic and Heterotrophic bacteria reside on media. Odorous air flows across the media and the odors are consumed by the bacteria. Bioscrubbers are a type of biofilter that utilize synthetic media and operate at higher flow rates and shorter contact times. Accessories - Bay Products provides a wide arrange of components that complement the odor control systems. Please check out details on ductwork, dampers, mist/grease filters, sound enclosures and FRP chemical storage tanks. |
