SPARROW UP FLOW™ ODOR CONTROL CANISTER
VERSATILE LOW-COST ODOR CONTROL CANISTER

The SPARROW line of up flow odor control canisters is designed around a modular, prefabricated plastic (FRP optional) canister for removing H2S and other compounds odorous or VOCs from municipal wastewater applications. These canisters can utilize a wide variety of absorbent medias including one time use and regenerable medias for specific treatment needs.

SERVICEABILITY

One of the unique benefits of the HAWK design is the ease to perform media replacement. It is as simple as disconnecting the inlet duct and removing the flanged lid.  This allows access to the entire media bed. Furthermore, it allows you to inspect the entire screen surface or remove it without entering the vessel unlike Deep Bed systems

PROCESS DESCRIPTION

The SPARROW utilizes up flow operation with the foul air entering from the bottom and is then diffused through the media bed. The H2S (or other contaminates) are then removed and the clean air is collected at the top portion of the vessel and exits the exhaust stack.
